Nursing Care

Santiam Gardens has resident-to-staff ratios that ensure not only proper care but also time to create relationships that last forever. Integrity and sincerity in doing what is right for each resident are apparent in the quality-of-care we provide.

Santiam Gardens prides itself on our fabulous Health Services staff. From the Health Services Director to the newest caregiver, overall quality is a priority and it’s noticeable. Our nursing team coordinates with your primary care provider to ensure medical needs are being met and followed up. Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Home Health Nursing and Hospice services are all facilitated through our nursing team, should the need arise.

Activities

The Santiam Gardens Activities department is active and vibrant. With full-time activities occurring daily, there is always something going on! All activities are made personal and adapted to fit each residents’ preferences and needs.

Large group, small group and 1-on-1 activities happen daily in-house as well as community activities and out-of-town day trips. We offer assistance with outside community services – helping residents and their families discover which services they qualify for and how to access them.

Housekeeping, Laundry, and Maintenance

Santiam Gardens has a clean reputation, and it shows. Housekeeping and laundry services are provided weekly with resident apartments and common areas cleaned daily. In-house laundry facilities are available for resident use or laundry services are provided as an amenity.

Similarly, our community is kept in good repair with full-time maintenance staff in the building Monday through Friday.
